About the Role
Stitch Perfect is a rapidly growing company that was established in 2014 based in Worcestershire in the West midlands, they focus on Classic and Vintage car interior restoration and preservation and are looking to add another trimmer to the team.
They have the pleasure of working on many prestigious car brands such as Aston martin, Lagonda, Ferrari, Alvis, Bentley and Maserati and you will to if successful in getting the job.
The job advertised is for a experienced “Coach trimmer” to carry out the following tasks:
-Patterning and trimming vintage and classic seats
-Patterning and trimming dashboards
-Making and trimming Door cards/Casing boards
-Patterning and trimming steering wheels
-Making Hoods
-Making Tonneaus
-Patterning and binding carpets in both vintage and classic styles
-Completing job sheets for your work
-Tool and sewing machine maintenance
-Keeping your working area tidy
-Ranging from small repairs and preservation work to complete vehicle retrims.
Ideally you should be confident and experienced in coach trimming as you will be asked to sometimes work alone on complicated and detailed work that includes pattern making, leather work, basic wood work, basic metal work and spring cushion making/forming using traditional techniques.
You must be reliable and ideally looking for a long term career within the company.
Experience with classic and vintage vehicles is essential and you must be motivated and able to organise jobs and complete them on your own in a timely fashion.
Working hours Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay will be based upon experience and ability.
Starting pay £30,000 - £35,000 annual

Requirements
Three Years experience minimum
