1948-Ford Prefect

Today I was contacted by a man called John he owns a 1948 Ford Prefect that he has been restoring for a number of years.
He asked if I could pop over to take a look at the Prefect and maybe quote for the interior.
After hours of chatting cars and all that sort of geeky stuff we agreed a price for me to do the interior and set a completion schedule, I’m looking forward to getting stuck in to this the interior casings are all really battered and will need completely remaking from scratch.
The seat frames and snag spring swabs and backs are in really good condition and will just need reconditioning.
I left Johns home with most of the interior and pictures that he had taken to help with the restoration I wish this was the case with all jobs pictures really do help when it comes to restoration work and John definitely knows what he is doing when it comes to restoring a ford Prefect.
